Kaffedepartementet is a haven for true coffee lovers in Nordvest. They roast their beans on-site (you can check out the roastery area in their space!) ensuring each batch reflects the unique characteristics of its origin and making sure they can create a full pure and unadulterated coffee experience for their clientele.

Housed in a refurbished industrial building on Rentemestervej, the café has a cool yet welcoming atmosphere. Outside, tables and benches provide the perfect spot for people-watching or soaking up the sun, even in winter, bundled up with a hot drink in hand.

While coffee is the star (it is called the Coffee Department after all!), their tebirkes should not be overlooked. A very trustworthy friend once told me they’re the best in Denmark, and after tasting them myself, I have to say—if not in all of Denmark, they are at least the best in Copenhagen.
