Urban Camper – A Surprisingly Fun Spot for Drinks & Games

I have to admit, the first time I set foot in Urban Camper, it was mostly as a joke. A few friends had been at mine for drinks, and at some point, someone mentioned that you could play games there. None of us had been before, but on a whim, we decided to check it out and play some shuffleboard. Turns out, it ended up being a way more fun night than I expected!

The beer selection isn’t the biggest, but they’ve got a solid mix of classics and a few wild cards, so you’ll definitely find something you like. They also have a few snacks if you get hungry, but the real draw of the place is that you can play games while you’re there. I didn’t think I’d enjoy shuffleboard that much, but here we are. You can also play petanque and pool, making it a great spot if you want to mix up your usual bar night with a bit of friendly competition.

Urban Camper also has a huge terrace, which is perfect for summer hangouts. And if you’re looking for food options, keep an eye out—there’s been talk about a remodeling of Nørrebro Center, and by late 2025, there should be more food spots either on the terrace or downstairs.

It might not be the first place that comes to mind for a night out, but honestly, sometimes it’s just really fun to let loose, grab some drinks, and play a few rounds of shuffleboard (or petanque, or pool!). Definitely worth checking out if you’re up for something a bit different today!
